We've tried to keep the rules to a minimum but please read through the information
below to make sure you're eligible for the competition and are happy with the terms

- 01 Entry into this competition confirms each entrant's
acceptance of these rules and regulations.
- 02 Candidates may only make one application per category,
but may apply to more than one category. However, you cannot enter the same piece
of work for more than one category. If you make more than one application to the
same category or enter the same piece of work for more than one category we will
only consider your first application.
- 03 Applicants must currently be enrolled, or in the
process of enrolling, on a full or part time education course. Applicants may be asked to provide evidence that confirms they are
registered with their stated education provider if their work is selected to appear on the website.
- 04 The closing date for applications is the 16th November
2008.
- 05 Only digitally created artwork will be accepted i.e.
we will not accept a photograph of a painting as an application.
- 06 Applicants may submit:
i) up to 6 static pieces of
work per application i.e. a series of 6 pieces of art, design or photography etc
OR ii) 1 film or video with a maximum duration of 5 minutes and file size of up to 20 Megabytes i.e. a short film or
animation.
- 07 No substitution or alterations to entries will be
accepted under any circumstances once they have been submitted.
- 08 No cash alternatives to any of the awards or additional
payments shall be made.
- 09 The organisers reserve the right to reject any entry
for any reason at their absolute discretion. The decision of the judges will be
final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
- 10 Entering the competition constitutes permission to
use the winners' names and entries for publicity and promotions without any additional
compensation.
- 11 Applications must consist of original works of art by the person submitting it.
- 12 The organisers reserve the right to amend these rules and
regulations at any time by notice on www.digitaldecember.org.
